Lampwork and Enameled Metal Earrings - Multi-Colored with Star of David

This set of earrings feature lampwork beads, accented with copper findings.

An enameled piece hangs below the beads. I created this part by cutting a piece of steel and applying powdered glass. With a small torch, I melted the glass powder to the metal. Then I applied small pieces of ground glass beads (which I prepared from my own mixes), and passed the piece through the torching process again.

Small batches of this design are made at a single sitting, but no two will ever be the same. The result is a "one-of-a-kind" creation.

This set of earrings measure approximately 3 inches in length. The ear wires are hypo-allergenic and nickel-free.
