This listing is for a 5-piece set which includes glass candle holders, an ornate tray, and two Shabbat candles.
The tray measures 8 x 11 inches and is 1/2 inch high. The candle holders are 3 inches tall and the base is 2 1/2 inches across. They hold standard Shabbat candles as well as taper candles with a 3/4 inch base.
The candle holders were marbled by hand using imported lacquers in various shades. The technique involves "floating" the lacquer on water and then placing the candle holders into the the solution. Several passes through the paint are performed to achieve the final results.
Due to the technique, no two sets will ever be the same - and no two candle holders will be identical. However, I dip the two candle holders into the same solution which allows for them to match in color, but the patterns are largely a matter of chance.
Candle cup liners are included with each candle holder to allow for easy removal of the candle wax.
The tray is made of Stainless Steel and has an intricate design etched onto the surface. It will beautifully reflect the candle holders and the lit candles.
